Flora and Fauna Quilt

This is a challenge quilt that I made in 2008. I call my quilt Flora and Fauna, Parts of the Garden measures 28.5" square. There were three fabrics provided as part of the challenge. They were a turquoise solid with gold stamped dragonflies, a large print with asters and leaves on a white background and a black background with long-stem red roses. I was able to add six additional fabrics. I chose three greens, one brown, a light blue and a very busy print on a buttery colour background.  There is lots of applique and embroidery in this quilt.
